Wilsons Carpets started life back in 1968 in Thorne, Doncaster, when Bill Wilson opened his first store with a simple idea: give local people great service, quality products and the best possible price.
More than 58 years later, we’re still proudly family owned, with the third generation of the Wilson family helping lead the business today. From that very first shop in Thorne, where we still operate a store, the same values that shaped our first store continue to guide everything we do today.
But while we’ve grown, our way of doing things hasn’t changed.
We don’t believe in confusing promotions or inflated prices. Instead, we focus on offering quality products at genuinely competitive prices, every day.

Natural mattresses
We offer a choice of premium, traditional pocket sprung mattresses with natural fillings, such as cotton, wool, cashmere and silk. They are naturally hypo-allergenic and offer the highest levels of luxury.
Hybrid mattresses
Our hybrid range combine pocket springs and contemporary fillings, that include memory foam, natural latex, cooling gel layers and even copper infused fillings for ultimate comfort.
Foam mattresses
For those on a budget, we have a range of roll-up foam mattresses, ready to take away in-store. They are ‘rolled and packaged’, easy to transport and ideal for kids and guest rooms and when you need a mattress... fast!
